Thought for the Day

Suppression doesn’t heal; it simply lets anger fester into bitterness. Real prayer begins when we stop editing ourselves before God. Throughout Scripture, writers and psalmists never held back their confusion, hurt, or raw outrage. They poured out their emotions directly, trusting that God was strong enough to handle their frustration. When you hand your anger over in prayer, you aren’t indulging in unchecked rage. Instead, you are placing the situation where it can actually be transformed. You are relinquishing the need to manage the outcome, settle the score, or carry the emotional burden by yourself.
