During the September 26, 2026, Oregon-USC game, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore suffered a dangerous hit from USC linebacker Desman Stephens II while Moore attempted to slide. Officials ejected Stephens for targeting. Moore left the field on a stretcher and went to a hospital. Oregon later reported that his MRI and CT scans were clean, although Moore was diagnosed with a concussion.
