Thought for the Day

This statement captures how loss doesn’t make love disappear. The affection, care, memories, and hopes we held for someone remain, even when the person is no longer present to receive them. The pain of grief often comes from that love continuing to exist without its usual place to land. Over time, many people find new places for that love to go: through memories, acts of kindness, or simply carrying the person with them in how they live.
